Dhanbad News: Attendance Clerk Accuses Colleague of Assault, Discussions with Project Officer

Hardev Kumar Yadav, an attendance clerk at the Dahibari OCP of BCCL CV Area, has accused fellow attendance clerk Shivlal Ram and three others of assault. In a complaint to the manager, Yadav stated that on Wednesday at 11 PM, while on duty, Shivlal Ram, Paramjit Singh, Amar Chauhan, and Jalandhar Ram arrived at the attendance office and assaulted him. They allegedly threw the attendance register and seized his mobile phone. Yadav claimed he was being pressured to mark Paramjit Singh’s attendance on May 18th. When he insisted on using the biometric system, the assault took place. Following the incident, the Joint Front held discussions with Project Head Debashish Chakraborty on Thursday, demanding action against the accused. Project Officer Debashish Chakraborty assured that departmental action would be taken, and a case would be registered. Attempts to contact attendance clerk Shivlal Ram for his version of the events were unsuccessful.
