The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has acquired crucial documents from Hazaribagh District Mining Officer (DMO) Ajit Kumar as part of its investigation into a case involving former Congress MLA Amba Prasad. The ED is analyzing these documents to further their investigation. The ED had previously surveyed the Hazaribagh DMO office, seizing some documents while others remained to be collected. The ED’s investigation stems from an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) filed against Amba Prasad’s family members, leading to raids on July 4th at her office, her brother’s Chartered Accountant’s premises, and locations linked to sand business individuals. During these raids, the ED obtained documents related to illegal sand mining.
