In a shocking incident in Jharkhand’s Khunti district, two friends on a motorcycle were ambushed by criminals late Friday night. One youth was killed on the spot, while the other was seriously injured. Police arrived at the scene after receiving information from villagers, took possession of the body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination. A search for the assailants has been launched.
The two youths were returning home to Khatanga village from the Saiko weekly market. Near Kocharidih village, the attackers threw chili powder into the eyes of both friends, causing them to lose control and fall off the bike. Subsequently, the assailants, riding on two motorcycles, attacked Choyta Sarukad with a sharp weapon, resulting in his death.
