    Health Minister Announces Compensation for Deoghar Bus Accident Victims

    Following the tragic bus accident in Deoghar, Jharkhand, the Health Minister announced financial assistance for the victims. Families of the deceased will receive one lakh rupees, while the injured will be given twenty thousand rupees. The announcement was made after the Health Minister, Dr. Irfan Ansari, visited the injured in Deoghar on Thursday. The minister also assessed the condition of the injured and ensured they were receiving proper medical care. Six people, including the driver, lost their lives in the accident, and twenty-four others were injured. Eight of the injured are undergoing treatment at AIIMS. The compensation will be provided from the Disaster Management Fund and the Baba Temple Welfare Fund. All medical treatments, including tests and medication, will be provided free of charge. The district administration will also arrange for the injured to be sent home after treatment and for the bodies of the deceased to be transported to their families.
