In a concerning incident reported from Koderma district, five members of a single family have fallen victim to severe food poisoning. The outbreak occurred in Behradih village, located within the Domchanch block, where the family consumed a meal of rice and litti. Shortly after eating, all individuals began experiencing debilitating symptoms, primarily intense diarrhea.
Initial attempts at home remedies proved ineffective. As their condition worsened, the family sought medical attention from a local physician. Despite receiving prescribed medications, their health did not improve, leading to a critical situation. Consequently, the affected family members were rushed to Koderma Sadar Hospital for advanced medical care. Doctors at the hospital are providing necessary treatment, and all patients are currently reported to be in a stable condition. Medical professionals have confirmed that the illness is a result of food poisoning.
The individuals affected have been identified as Kanchan Devi (40), her daughters Sweety Kumari (13), Roshni Kumari (16), Reena Kumari (18), and her son, Asmit Rajvansh (9).
