Man Arrested for Filming Nursing Student While Bathing in Ranchi

A young man has been apprehended by the police in Ranchi for allegedly filming a BSc nursing student while she was bathing. The accused, identified as Manish Kumar, also known as Liluwa, was arrested following an incident that occurred around 2:30 PM on Thursday. The victim is a student at RIMS (Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences) pursuing her BSc in Nursing. The accused was reportedly residing in the same neighborhood as the student, in a rented apartment near her residence in Indraprastha Colony, Joda Talab. The accused allegedly removed a window pane to record the video. The student, upon realizing what was happening, raised an alarm, prompting the accused to flee the scene. Local residents promptly informed the Bariyatu police station. The police initially detained the suspect’s father. The accused later surrendered to the police and was subsequently arrested, while his father was released.
