Rath Yatra 2025: Devotees’ Enthusiasm Unwavering Despite the Rain, Lord Jagannath Returns to Main Temple with Siblings

After a nine-day sojourn, Lord Jagannath, along with his siblings Balabhadra and Subhadra, returned to their abode from Mausibadi on Sunday. The atmosphere at the historic Jagannathpur temple complex and its surrounding routes was filled with the chants of ‘Jai Jagannath.’ Despite the downpour, the enthusiasm of the devotees remained undiminished. Neither the fear of getting wet nor the inconvenience of the roads could dampen their spirits; there was no decrease in the number of devotees even in the face of continuous rain. The Rath Yatra saw participation from notable figures, and the procession concluded with the deities’ arrival at the main temple, followed by rituals and celebrations.
