Jharkhand Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey made headlines on Monday by launching four vital development projects in Mandar and Chanho blocks, focusing on school infrastructure improvements funded by DMFT and CCL CSR. This move comes as part of broader efforts to strengthen educational facilities in her constituency.

The projects include eight new classrooms at Mandar’s Government Middle School (DMFT-funded) and three extra rooms at the local Residential Girls School. In Chanho, CCL’s CSR will support a solar-powered deep borewell and dining shed at Hutar’s Rajkiya Middle Upgraded School, while DMFT backs eight additional classrooms at Chanho’s Rajkiya Upgraded Middle School.

Tirkey, speaking at the events, highlighted the urgency of these expansions due to surging student populations. She reaffirmed the strategic use of DMFT funds for education, healthcare, and infrastructure, ensuring grassroots-level impact. ‘A robust education system builds self-assured, disciplined students who achieve success,’ the minister asserted, positioning education as society’s foundation.

Post-inauguration in Chanho, she handed out certificates under the Ullas Nav Bharat Saksharta Abhiyan, targeting adult literacy. This program empowers the non-literate, enhancing societal awareness and aiding development scheme execution.

The day concluded with her attendance at Loyo village’s church foundation day event in Mandar. The ceremonies drew local leaders, officials, school committees, and villagers, signaling strong communal backing.

This development underscores Jharkhand’s commitment to leveraging mineral revenues and corporate responsibilities for public good. As these projects progress, they promise transformed educational landscapes in rural blocks, potentially setting a model for other regions. Enhanced classrooms, solar amenities, and literacy drives collectively pave the way for empowered communities.
