Son Uses Mother’s Scarf to Hang Himself, Sparking Grief in Village

A young man in the Gaadigao Pahan Tola area of the Khelgaon police station in Ranchi, Jharkhand, tragically took his own life by hanging himself with his mother’s scarf. The grim incident has plunged the entire village into mourning. The deceased, identified as Prashant Linda, was found hanging in his room. Authorities are investigating the reasons behind his drastic action, with no suicide note recovered from the scene. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination at RIMS Hospital. According to family members, everything seemed normal the night before. The youth had his dinner and went to his room as usual. When he didn’t come out the next morning, the family grew concerned. Peeking through the window, they were horrified to find him hanging. By the time they reached him, it was too late. Police are investigating the case.
