Teacher Accused of Sexual Misconduct with 12 Students in Ranchi

A teacher at a government-aided school in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is under investigation following allegations of sexual misconduct involving more than a dozen female students. The accusations include inappropriate WhatsApp chats, demands for revealing photos, and attempts to coerce students into sexual acts, including video calls. The incident has deeply disturbed the community and raised concerns about the safety of students. The teacher, Abhishek Kumar Singh, has been accused of crossing all boundaries of decency. Upon receiving the information, the Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri, ordered an immediate investigation by the District Education Officer (DEO) and District Superintendent of Education (DSE). A dedicated investigation team has been formed to look into the matter thoroughly.
