Traffic Policemen Assaulted by Auto Drivers in Ranchi, One Seriously Injured

A shocking incident unfolded in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, where traffic police personnel were brutally assaulted by auto-rickshaw drivers. The assault took place in broad daylight at the Kathal Morh area under the Nagri police station jurisdiction. A video of the incident, captured by a bystander, has gone viral on social media, showing the auto drivers attacking the police officers. Reportedly, the auto drivers used stones in the assault, resulting in serious injuries to one officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, who sustained a head injury. He has been admitted to the RIMS hospital in Ranchi for treatment. The perpetrators have fled the scene, and police are conducting raids to apprehend them. The Traffic SP of Ranchi has vowed to take strict action against those involved. The Nagri police station in-charge is investigating the matter.
