Traffic Policemen Attacked in Ranchi: Auto Drivers Assault Officers, One in Serious Condition

In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, a disturbing incident unfolded as traffic police officers were attacked by auto drivers. The assault occurred in broad daylight at the Kathal Mod area under the Nagri police station. A video of the incident, captured by a bystander, has gone viral on social media, showing the brutal attack on the officers. The auto drivers reportedly used stones in the assault, with one officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, sustaining serious head injuries. He has been admitted to the RIMS hospital in Ranchi for treatment. Authorities are actively searching for the auto drivers involved, and the Ranchi Traffic SP has vowed strict action against the perpetrators. The Nagri police station in-charge is leading the investigation.
