Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju launched a strong criticism of Rahul Gandhi. In an interview, Rijiju claimed that Gandhi’s comments make his own party’s MPs uneasy. Rijiju suggested that Gandhi’s statements are ‘nonsense’ and could negatively impact the Congress party. Rijiju referenced Gandhi’s controversial statements involving Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that the Supreme Court had previously reprimanded him. The Minister also pointed out contentious remarks made by Gandhi concerning the Rafale deal and China. Rijiju stated that Gandhi should “speak like an Indian” and accused him of attempting to destabilize the country. He warned of serious repercussions, alluding to alleged foreign interference aimed at undermining the Indian government.
