    Two Indian Army soldiers lost their lives during an ongoing gunfight with terrorists in the Akhal forest area of Kulgam district, South Kashmir. The intense exchange of fire, which began nearly nine days ago, is one of the longest anti-terror operations in the valley. Two more soldiers are reported to be injured as the operation continues amid challenging conditions. A total of eleven security personnel have sustained injuries since the commencement of the operation.
