Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has strongly criticized Pakistan, accusing the nation of undermining Jammu and Kashmir’s progress and sowing discord. Speaking at a religious ceremony in Anantnag, South Kashmir, he labeled Pakistan a ‘terrorist nation’ actively trying to reverse the developmental strides made in J&K over the past five years. Sinha emphasized the importance of unity and collective resistance to counter Pakistan’s alleged malicious intentions. He also acknowledged the crucial role of the police, security forces, and the public in combating terrorism. The Lieutenant Governor highlighted the significance of providing timely information to security agencies to eradicate the threat. Furthermore, he praised the restraint shown by the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Sinha also emphasized the need to spread awareness about Kashmir’s spiritual heritage, promoting tolerance and acceptance of different faiths.
