    Ajayarvind Namdev, Shahdol. A case of human trafficking has come to light from Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, where a 40 -year -old woman was taken to Rajasthan and sold for Rs 1.40 lakh. The accused first called the victim to Ujjain, then sold to a person in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. There, the accused forcibly got married in the temple with the help of his brother -in -law and then continued to raped her by imprisoning the house. The hostage woman got a mobile and called her sister and told her sister. Shahdol police became active on the information of the sister and rescued the woman from Govindpura village in Rajasthan. In the woman’s smuggling case, the police have registered a case against 4 accused of Rajasthan and arrested two accused.

    Rajasthan kept in Govindpura village of Jhalawar district

    The report of the disappearance of Premia Lohar, a resident of Barhi Kachar village of Sidhi police station area of ​​the district, was reported on 29 March. Investigation revealed that the woman has been kept in Govindpura village under Pidawa police station in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. The police took quick action and recovered the woman. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused Gokul Singh (resident Harnavada, Thana Dug) called the woman to Ujjain on 2 March, and the next day, along with his partner Jagdish Lal (resident Balda, Thana Pidawa), sold him to Jagdish Meghwal (resident Semli, Thana Pagaria) for Rs 1.40 lakh.

    Case registered against four accused

    After this, the accused, with the help of his brother -in -law Phulchand Meghwal, forcibly married the woman and imprisoned him as a wife and raped her continuously. On the basis of the woman’s statement, the police registered a case against the four accused and arrested two accused Jagdish Lal and Jagdish Meghwal from Rajasthan and brought them directly to the court and filed jail. The search for two accused absconding is on.
