    Ajayarvind Namdev, Shahdol. In Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh, the web of usury is deepening day by day. Now women along with men have also joined this illegal business. The latest case is from Budhar police station area, where a woman usurer entered the house of the victim’s family to recover the money and not only abused, but also threatened to kill her. The victim couple lodged a complaint with the Budhar police station, but the police, while playing the formalities, cut the NCR on the complaint of both the parties and put the case on hold. Angered by this negligence of the police, the couple has now complained to the Chief Minister Helpline and the QR Code Service of the SP office. Due to lack of justice, the frustrated victims now reached the MLA’s shelter and pleaded for help.

    Was taken money from woman due to financial crisis

    Dinesh Mishra, who lives in a rented house in Adarsh ​​Colony of Budhar police station area, took money from a woman resident of Dhanpuri on interest due to family crisis. Mishra says that he paid interest installments on time, but in recent times some installments were delayed due to financial constraints. On this, the woman doing business of usury reached her house and started threatening in vulgar language. When the victim’s family reached the police station with a complaint, instead of giving them justice, the police filed a minor report and made the matter dispelled. The couple, hurt by this attitude, has now pleaded for justice from the MLA after complaining to the CM Helpline and the Superintendent of Police.

    The victim’s family says that a small economic crisis has pushed them into legal and social torture. On the one hand there are threats of the usurer woman, on the other hand the inaction of the police, now the matter has reached the senior officials of the district and the victims have once again received assurance of justice.

    This case not only indicates the increasing incidence of usury, but also raises serious questions on the functioning of the police. When the victims themselves reach the police station with a plea for justice and they are just NCR, it is clear how seriously the local administration is taking such serious cases. If the administration does not stop it in time, its results can be frightening.
