The young man sold the activated SIM of Airtel Company for Rs 500 in the name of another.

At the same time, for the purpose of illegally making profit, he activated and told about selling SIMs by activating the names of others. SIM of Airtel, Idea and Jio Company has been recovered from the youth. Apart from this, Airtel 5G Plus company has also got an inactive 10 SIM.

    Action will be taken against those who buy SIM in the name of another

    The police have received two to three SIMs, which the accused was in the process of activating and selling in the name of another. A case has been registered against the accused under Section 318 (2) BNS 42 (3) (C) Telecom Act 2023. The SP said that the accused has active and sold in the name of which people, it is being questioned. Action will also be taken against those who have illegally bought SIM in the name of others without identity card. The distributor of SIM company will also be questioned.
