Following his exclusion from the debate on Operation Sindoor in Parliament, Congress leader Manish Tewari stated he harbors neither grievances nor regrets. He speculated that the party might have assessed his ability to effectively present their viewpoint. During an interview with the news agency ANI, the Congress MP was asked whether his party had prevented him from speaking on Operation Sindoor.

In response, Manish Tewari explained that the Congress Parliamentary Party comprises 100 members, with many expressing their desire to speak, including himself. He acknowledged the party’s decision-making process in selecting the most suitable representatives to articulate their stance in Parliament, even if it meant he wasn’t chosen. However, he reiterated that he has neither complaints nor ill feelings regarding the matter.
