Modi Celebrates Diwali on INS Vikrant, Recalls Operation Sindoor Victory

The Prime Minister emphasized that INS Vikrant represents more than just a warship; it embodies India’s dedication, ingenuity, and strength. He spoke of the palpable energy and patriotic spirit he witnessed among the soldiers, noting how their songs vividly recounted the successes of Operation Sindoor, evoking the profound emotions of those on the front lines. He further remarked on the psychological impact of the INS Vikrant, suggesting its very presence instills fear in adversaries. The Prime Minister also pointed to the critical role of the BrahMos cruise missile in Operation Sindoor, acknowledging its deterrent effect and mentioning international interest in acquiring it. Looking ahead, he reiterated his government’s ambition to position India as a leading global defense exporter. Additionally, PM Modi touched upon the progress in combating Maoist insurgency, expressing confidence in the security forces’ ability to eradicate the remaining ‘red terror.’
