The All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) has strongly condemned the arrest of Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan and others. The AIMPLB has decided to postpone the nationwide strike scheduled for October 3rd. According to the board, the new date for the nationwide strike will be announced soon. The decision to postpone the strike was made during an emergency meeting due to the festivals falling on the same date in many states of the country.
A notice issued by AIMPLB stated that the board’s protest movement against the Waqf Amendment Act will continue as before, and all other programs will also be held according to the previously decided dates.
