JD(U) spokesperson Neeraj Kumar has lavished praise on Bihar’s recent budget, crediting it with a dramatic overhaul of rural life under Nitish Kumar. Speaking to media, he outlined transformative strides in infrastructure, schooling, and linkages that are breathing new life into villages long starved of development.

Envisioned for ‘Viksit Bihar,’ the budget allocates massively for roads, electricity, and education hubs. Kumar painted a vivid picture: pothole-free paths connecting farms to markets, smart classrooms sparking young minds, and broadband dissolving urban-rural divides. ‘Nitish ji’s vision is materializing,’ he declared.

Tackling regulations for girls’ dormitories, Kumar recalled Bihar’s lag—24 sub-divisions without colleges even years after 1947. Today’s policies usher in connectivity boosts, tech integrations, and empowerment programs tailored for girls, fostering a brighter future.

Dismissing Mamata Banerjee’s SIR concerns, Kumar reminded that the Election Commission handles such matters autonomously. ‘Past SIRs faced no backlash; some skip BLO duties then point fingers,’ he charged.

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘gadhar dost’ jibe at Ravneet Bittu drew Kumar’s ire. ‘Unparliamentary and unconstitutional—this isn’t leadership,’ he said, urging accountability from the opposition chief.

On Hardeep Puri’s retort to Gandhi, Kumar highlighted the sanctity of Sikh contributions to independence. ‘The nation honors the Sikh Regiment; hurtful words demand reflection from Gandhi.’

Praising NSA Doval’s resolve, Kumar underscored India’s strength: no bending to pressure, readiness to counter globally. Bihar’s budget, he wrapped up, stands as a beacon of self-reliant growth in turbulent times.
