Bihar’s political landscape buzzed on Tuesday as Union Minister Lalan Singh poured cold water on speculations surrounding RCP Singh’s potential re-entry into JD(U). Addressing the media in Lakhisarai, the senior leader made it clear: those who undermine the party from within stand no chance of return.

Lalan Singh painted a picture of a robust JD(U), crediting its vitality to committed workers and Nitish Kumar’s steady helm. ‘Our power lies in the dedication of our foot soldiers,’ he remarked, reinforcing party unity amid ongoing rumors.

In a significant reveal, Lalan detailed an upcoming diplomatic push. Come January 21, 2026, he will preside over a grand roundtable with envoys from more than 80 nations, focused squarely on supercharging India’s seafood export industry.

As the second-biggest player in global aquaculture, India eyes expanded horizons. Lalan Singh outlined how this event will cement new partnerships, driving economic gains for coastal communities and exporters alike.

Post a heartfelt rendezvous with CM Nitish Kumar, Lalan shared insights into their decades-long bond. ‘After three days in the region, we briefed him on our Delhi-bound schedule for tomorrow’s Cabinet meet. His visit speaks volumes about our rapport,’ he said.

Fielding questions on Nishant Kumar’s political prospects, Lalan left it to Nitish’s judgment. He warmly felicitated Nitin Nabin’s BJP leadership role, predicting strong strides ahead.

Lalan hailed the Bihar electorate’s development-driven verdict favoring NDA. Aligning with PM Modi’s 2047 vision, he proclaimed Bihar’s readiness to spearhead progress. ‘The state is equipped to play a decisive role in India’s development story,’ he concluded, setting an optimistic tone for the future.
