A 51-year-old astrologer from Bihar, identified as Ashwini Kumar, has been arrested in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly sending bomb threats to Mumbai. The threats, delivered via WhatsApp, claimed that the city would be targeted by ‘human bombs’ and RDX. The Mumbai Traffic Police received the threat, prompting heightened security measures across Maharashtra. The message indicated that 34 vehicles carrying 400 kilograms of RDX and ‘human bombs’ would be used in multiple attacks. Authorities are investigating the threat, which purportedly originated from an organization calling itself ‘Lashkar-e-Jihadi’. Kumar, who has been living in Noida for five years, has had his phone and SIM card seized and is being transported to Mumbai for further investigation.
