    Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the ET World Leaders Forum 2025, discussing the global economy and making a significant announcement regarding India’s technological advancements. He revealed that the first Made-in-India semiconductor chip is expected to be available in the market by the end of 2025. Modi emphasized India’s capability to shape the course of events, stating that the nation is not content with merely making small changes; it is capable of altering the flow of the times. He highlighted the nation’s progress and outlined future plans, encouraging the development of new sectors. Modi noted that India is on the verge of achieving a major milestone, preparing to export electric vehicles (EVs) to 100 countries. He underlined research and innovation as the foundation of India’s progress, emphasizing the importance of indigenous research for fulfilling the country’s ambitions. The government has been actively promoting research through various policies and platforms. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, India has strengthened its economic foundation, with the fiscal deficit expected to fall to 4.4 percent. The nation is also rapidly advancing in the development of Made-in-India 6G technology. Modi mentioned that India is aiming for a quantum leap and has completed over 60 space missions in the last 11 years. The Gaganyaan mission, which will send Indian astronauts into space, is also under preparation.
