Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s latest ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address, the 128th edition, broadcast on November 30, was a deep dive into a month brimming with significant national achievements and milestones. PM Modi began by reflecting on the inspirational events that marked November, emphasizing the collective progress and aspirations of the nation.

Key highlights included the 150th anniversary of the patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram,’ celebrated on November 7, which resonated with a sense of national pride. The Prime Minister also drew attention to India’s growing prowess in the space sector, specifically mentioning the inauguration of Skyroot’s Infinity Campus, a significant boost to the country’s aerospace ecosystem.

Constitution Day, observed on November 26, was marked by a special program in the Parliament’s Central Hall, underscoring the importance of India’s foundational document. Additionally, the hoisting of the religious flag at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25, along with the inauguration of the Panchjanya Memorial in Kurukshetra, were noted as spiritually significant events.

Modi also celebrated India’s advancements in defense and aviation. The induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy was highlighted as a testament to India’s growing maritime strength. He linked these developments, including the new aviation sector capabilities, to a reflection of ‘Bharat’s new ideas, innovation, and youth power.’

Looking ahead, the Prime Minister expressed excitement about India hosting the Commonwealth Games in Ahmedabad in 2030, signaling a significant step forward in the nation’s sporting landscape. On the agricultural front, a record-breaking foodgrain production of 357 million tonnes was celebrated, showcasing a remarkable 100 million tonne increase over the last decade. This success was lauded as a major achievement for the agriculture sector and the nation’s farmers. The address also touched upon past successes, including praise for the armed forces and achievements in anti-Naxal operations.
