    During the 79th Republic Day celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort. He described this occasion as a celebration of 140 crore resolutions, highlighting the collective achievements and the unity of the nation. Modi’s speech, lasting 103 minutes, was the longest he has delivered in the past 11 years.

    In his address, the Prime Minister issued a stern warning to Pakistan and a message to the United States. He also announced employment-related initiatives for the youth and praised the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on its centenary. Here’s a breakdown of the key points:

    **Operation Sindoor:**
    Modi saluted the soldiers involved in Operation Sindoor. He highlighted the operation’s significance, especially in light of the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam on April 22nd. He emphasized the government’s decision to give the army a free hand, leading to successful operations against terrorist headquarters.

    **Warning to Pakistan:**
    Modi issued a direct warning against Pakistan, stating that India would no longer be intimidated by nuclear threats. He declared that India would respond decisively to any future aggression. He stressed that India would not tolerate the mixing of blood and water, implying a firm stance against terrorism.

    **Indus Water Treaty:**
    Modi criticized the Indus Water Treaty, calling it unfair and one-sided. He pointed out that the water from Indian rivers was irrigating enemy farms, while Indian farmers suffered from water scarcity. He asserted that India would not continue with the current form of the treaty, prioritizing the interests of its farmers and the nation.

    **Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India):**
    Modi emphasized the importance of self-reliance for a nation’s self-respect and development. He stated that the foundation of a developed India is ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ He connected self-reliance to national security, citing the success of Operation Sindoor, which was made possible by ‘Made in India’ defense capabilities. He highlighted the ongoing mission to achieve self-reliance in the defense sector.

    **Focus on Technology:**
    Modi emphasized the importance of technology in the 21st century. He cited the historical significance of technological advancement for national development. He called for the development of indigenous technologies, including jet engines for fighter jets, operating systems, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

    **Electric Vehicles (EVs):**
    Modi promoted the EV sector, advocating for the domestic production of EV batteries and components, including solar panels. He expressed confidence in the youth’s ability to contribute to this sector and urged influencers and political parties to support the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative.

    **GST Reforms:**
    Modi announced significant GST reforms, including tax reductions, to be implemented during Diwali. He highlighted the need to reduce GST for the benefit of the general public.

    **Sudarshan Chakra Mission:**
    Modi announced the launch of the Sudarshan Chakra Mission, inspired by Lord Krishna’s weapon. He outlined plans to expand, strengthen, and modernize the national security framework by 2035, with indigenous development, research, and manufacturing at its core.

    **Task Force for Reforms:**
    The government will constitute a task force to formulate next-generation reforms aligned with the 21st century, global environment, and the goal of making India a developed nation by 2047.

    **Praise for RSS:**
    Modi praised the RSS on its centenary, highlighting its 100 years of service and dedication to nation-building. He recognized the RSS as a significant NGO contributing to society through service, dedication, and discipline.

    **High-Power Demography Mission:**
    A high-power demography mission will be launched to address the changing demographics in border areas, tackle infiltration, and counter attempts to mislead tribal communities, ensuring national security.

    **Prime Minister’s Developed India Employment Scheme:**
    Modi announced the Prime Minister’s Developed India Employment Scheme, with a budget of ₹1 lakh crore, to provide financial assistance of ₹15,000 to young people in their first job in the private sector.

    **Support for Farmers:**
    Modi reiterated that farmers, animal herders, and fishermen are the top priorities. He affirmed that the government would always protect their interests.
