    Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled for a two-day visit commencing June 20th, with stops in Bihar, Odisha, and Andhra Pradesh. The visit is packed with inaugurations, foundation stone-laying ceremonies, and public engagements focused on infrastructure development, socio-economic progress, and celebrating International Yoga Day.

    In Bihar, the Prime Minister will inaugurate several development projects in Siwan, boosting infrastructure. Key projects include the new Vaishali-Deoria railway line and a new Vande Bharat Express service between Patliputra and Gorakhpur. A locomotive built for export to Guinea will also be flagged off. Additionally, several Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) will be inaugurated under the Namami Gange project, and foundation stones will be laid for water supply, sanitation, and STPs. A 500 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will also be established, aiming to improve power infrastructure.

    In Odisha, the Prime Minister will participate in a state-level function in Bhubaneswar, marking the completion of one year of the State Government. Multiple development projects worth over Rs 18,600 crore will be inaugurated, spanning sectors like drinking water, irrigation, and infrastructure. New train services will be launched, expanding rail connectivity to the Boudh district. Furthermore, 100 electric buses will be flagged off under the CRUT system. The Odisha Vision Document will also be released, along with the ‘Baraputra Aitihya Gram Yojana’ initiative. Women achievers from the state will be felicitated.

    On June 21st, the Prime Minister will lead the International Yoga Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He will participate in a mass yoga demonstration at the beachfront and address the gathering. The event will include the Common Yoga Protocol session with thousands of participants. The theme for this year is ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health,’ promoting global wellness.
