Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been consistently raising concerns about alleged vote theft, targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Amidst these accusations, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha is scheduled to hold a press conference on Thursday. Speculation is rife that Gandhi may unveil significant revelations regarding vote manipulation during this conference. In Patna, Gandhi previously stated his intention to deploy a ‘hydrogen bomb’ on the issue of vote theft, though the specific details of what will be discussed remain unclear.

During the closing event of his ‘Voter Rights Yatra’ in Patna, Bihar, on September 1st, Gandhi asserted that his party would soon expose vote theft with a ‘hydrogen bomb,’ following an earlier ‘atom bomb’ revelation. He further claimed that after this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be unable to face the nation.

Congress’s media and publicity department head, Pawan Khera, announced on social media that Rahul Gandhi will address the press conference at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The event will take place at the Indira Bhawan auditorium in the national capital.

Gandhi’s last press conference was on August 7th, where he presented an analysis of the 2024 general election data from a Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka, alleging vote theft. He accused the Election Commission of colluding with the BJP to manipulate votes, calling it a violation of the constitution.

In Bihar, Gandhi has repeatedly highlighted vote theft, framing it as the theft of rights, reservations, employment, education, and democracy, as well as the future of the youth. He stated that this theft would lead to the transfer of people’s land and ration cards to Adani and Ambani. He further stated that the forces behind Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination are now attempting to undermine the constitution. He declared that they would not allow the constitution to be destroyed.

During the Bihar campaign, Gandhi said that the youth were protesting and chanting slogans against the alleged vote theft. He also mentioned that the BJP supporters were showing black flags. He then made a statement about the hydrogen bomb. He said that after the hydrogen bomb, PM Narendra Modi will not be able to show his face to the country.

Ahead of the press conference, Gandhi also wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging for a swift assessment of the damage caused by the floods in Punjab and requesting a comprehensive relief package for the affected people.
