Rajasthan Constable’s Suicide Follows Attack on Wife and Son in Jhunjhunu

A Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) constable died by suicide in Jhunjhunu after attacking his wife and six-year-old son with a sword. The couple had been separated for two years, with the constable stationed in Sriganganagar while his wife and son resided in a rented home in Jhunjhunu. During a visit, a confrontation led to the assault, resulting in the wife sustaining severe hand injuries and the son a deep neck wound. The constable’s body was later discovered on railway tracks, with authorities suspecting he intentionally placed himself in the path of a train. During the investigation, a video purportedly recorded by the constable surfaced, alleging his wife was involved with another man and pregnant with his child.
