A victim of the Tamil Nadu stampede recounted the horrific events of Saturday, revealing the immense personal tragedy. His brother’s elder son perished in the chaos, while the whereabouts of his younger son remain unknown. Furthermore, his brother’s wife is currently in the ICU, leaving him overwhelmed and uncertain about the future. The stampede-like situation occurred during a rally hosted by TVK (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam) chief and actor Vijay in Karur, Tamil Nadu, resulting in at least 36 fatalities. Numerous attendees collapsed amidst the pandemonium and were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim, visibly distraught, shared the details of his family’s suffering, including the loss of his nephew and the injury to his own son’s eye.
