Following a discussion between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump, BJP MP Tejasvi Surya stated that PM Modi conveyed India’s clear position to the world: that India does not desire any external mediation in its affairs. Surya highlighted that India’s stance on issues with Pakistan, including the recent events, remains firm. He emphasized that India considers Kashmir an internal matter, asserting complete political consensus on this issue. Surya also referred to the April 22nd Pahalgam terror attack, which resulted in the loss of 25 lives. He noted that the world has acknowledged the differences in the approaches of India and Pakistan, emphasizing that India’s actions have focused on eliminating terrorists, in contrast to Pakistan’s actions against innocent civilians. During the conversation, PM Modi briefed President Trump about India’s Operation Sindoor and reiterated that India has never accepted and will never accept mediation in its dealings with Pakistan.
