Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to hold a press conference in Araria, Bihar, at 11:30 AM today as part of the Voter Rights Yatra. The event will be attended by Tejaswi Yadav, Dipankar Bhattacharya, Mukesh Sahni, and other prominent leaders. Separately, Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Ligamamada Rabuka will be visiting India from today, August 27th. During his visit, he will meet with President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In other news, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting the flood-affected areas of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir today. Rescue and relief operations are underway following a cloudburst in Chosoti village. The Defence Minister will assess the relief efforts and meet with the affected individuals. The national capital experienced rainfall on Saturday, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms for today as well.
