He questioned the UN’s operations and blamed Europe for the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, urging them to cease buying oil from Russia. Furthermore, he labeled the policies of India and China as aiding Russia financially. In other news, a blast occurred on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan, Pakistan, causing the train to derail, with multiple injuries reported. The 71st National Film Awards were presented, with Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey among the winners. Noted umpire Dickie Bird passed away at the age of 92.
