The most recent actions led to the apprehension of fellow musician Sekhar Jyoti Goswami and co-singer Amritprabha Mahanta. Both were present in Singapore at the time of Zubeen’s demise.
After Zubeen’s death, his family alleged that his death was not merely due to drowning and appealed to security agencies for a thorough investigation.
