Uddhav Thackeray Accuses Eknath Shinde of Plotting to Discredit CM Fadnavis After MLA’s Canteen Incident

Uddhav Thackeray, former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has leveled accusations against Eknath Shinde, suggesting a potential conspiracy to damage the reputation of current Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The allegations stem from an incident where Shiv Sena MLA Sanjay Gaikwad was involved in a confrontation with a canteen employee due to concerns about the quality of food served. Thackeray, speaking on the matter, clarified that Gaikwad belongs to the Shinde faction and implied that the incident was a deliberate act to undermine the Chief Minister. Gaikwad, defending his actions, cited repeated complaints regarding the food quality at the canteen, mentioning issues like stale ingredients and unsanitary conditions. CM Devendra Fadnavis has condemned the MLA’s behavior, emphasizing that such actions are unbecoming of a legislator.
