The Shiv Sena (UBT) faction led by Uddhav Thackeray is set to commence a statewide agitation against the government in Maharashtra, starting Wednesday. The protest is organized to demand the repeal of the Jan Suraksha Kanoon (Public Safety Act). The demonstration will take place near the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
Key senior functionaries and leaders of Thackeray’s Shiv Sena are expected to participate in this movement, including Aditya Thackeray, Uddhav Thackeray, Sachin Ahir, Bhaskar Jadhav, and Sunil Prabhu, among others.
