Udhayanidhi Stalin Accuses AIADMK of Facilitating BJP’s Entry into Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu’s Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin has strongly criticized the AIADMK, alleging the party is deliberately working to open doors for the BJP’s expansion in the state. Speaking at a DMK booth agents’ meeting, Stalin stated that the upcoming 2026 Assembly election is crucial for preserving the state’s identity, pride, and language. He pointed out the AIADMK’s perceived shift in stance, referencing the party’s General Secretary, Edappadi K Palaniswami, and the alleged secretive deals struck with the BJP. Stalin emphasized that the BJP could never resonate with the Tamil people. He also highlighted alleged disparities in central fund allocation, specifically mentioning the lack of funds for education in Tamil Nadu compared to other states. Furthermore, he reassured party members about Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s health and lauded his continued dedication to governance. Udhayanidhi also recalled the leadership style of the late M. Karunanidhi and praised the DMK-led INDIA bloc. He cited the DMK government’s achievements, including the disbursement of funds under the Women’s Rights Scheme and the state’s economic growth, and acknowledged the role of booth agents in the party’s success.
