In a strong message amid rising tensions in Ujjain’s Tarana town, Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav vowed on Friday that his administration will crack down hard on those disturbing peace. The remarks came after a skirmish between two groups turned ugly, involving stone-throwing and assaults.

What began as a trivial argument on Thursday evening spiraled into violence when assailants reportedly beat up a local Hindu organization leader and his companion. By Friday morning, the feud intensified with both sides exchanging stones, as evidenced by widely shared social media clips.

Police acted decisively, deploying massive forces and clamping prohibitory orders. Flag marches were organized, and Section 163 of the BNS was invoked to curb potential unrest. SP Pradeep Sharma updated that 20 suspects are in custody, with interrogations ongoing. Patrol vehicles are actively monitoring roads, and community dialogues are being held to de-escalate matters.

Speaking to journalists in Jabalpur, Yadav highlighted his regime’s reputation for efficient governance. ‘Our government stands for seamless administration. We address every flaw with resolve and are fully prepared to neutralize threats to tranquility,’ he stated emphatically.

Officials noted attempts by some to spread misinformation for panic. CCTV reviews are aiding investigations, ensuring all involved face justice. With security beefed up, the area remains tense but controlled. Yadav’s assertive stance aims to reassure citizens while deterring future disturbances, reflecting a broader push for lawfulness across Madhya Pradesh.
