In a strategic move to fortify its administrative backbone, the Uttar Pradesh government has released Rs 196.39 crore for 2025-26 to enhance the Revenue Department’s infrastructure. This investment fuels rapid construction and repairs of essential office and housing structures spanning the state’s mandals, districts, and tehsils.

Spotlight projects include revenue buildings in Sonbhadra (Obra), Ghaziabad (Loni), Amroha city and Naugawan Sadat tehsil, plus Orai tehsil in Jalaun. These developments will streamline revenue processes, making them more citizen-friendly.

Ongoing repairs at Gorakhpur, Meerut, and Sambhal collectorates complement new builds in Naugarh (Siddharthnagar), Bidhuna (Auraiya), and Karawali (Mainpuri) tehsils. Many are on the verge of completion, promising modern hubs for integrated revenue services.

Fresh approvals cover a multi-functional auditorium in Maharajganj, alongside staff accommodations like Barabanki DM residence repairs, Ayodhya officer housing (Type-4), and Basti’s Haraiya tehsil residences.

The pipeline brims with proposals: Mirzapur collectorate rebuild, Kanpur Sadar tehsil, Chandauli’s Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar tehsil, Ghazipur’s Kasimabad and Sevrai offices. Judicial expansions target Meerut commissioner’s courtroom and Amroha ADM (Judicial) facilities.

Housing initiatives for revenue personnel in multiple districts—Aayodhya, Kanpur, Moradabad, Lalitpur, Muzaffarnagar, Hardoi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaunpur—are advancing swiftly. This overhaul positions UP’s revenue framework for efficiency and growth, serving millions more effectively.
