Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ushered in Republic Day celebrations with warm wishes to all residents, describing the national holiday as a magnificent celebration of the Constitution’s birth. Released on January 25 from New Delhi, his address bowed to the sacrifices of freedom warriors, Constitution architects, and those who fought for statehood.

This pivotal day, Dhami noted, reignites the zeal to realize patriots’ visions and recommit to constitutional values. Citizens must champion justice, freedom, equality, and brotherhood, the four pillars of Indian democracy, in every endeavor.

Aligning with PM Modi’s 2047 developed nation goal, Uttarakhand’s administration is laser-focused on excellence. The PM’s endorsement of this era as the state’s golden decade has sparked unprecedented enthusiasm. Welfare drives like door-to-door governance have benefited lakhs, ensuring schemes touch the last mile.

Trailblazing with the Uniform Civil Code, the state safeguards its divine heritage through superior yatra management, expanded winter pilgrimages, and temple development projects boosting religious tourism and economy. Industrial policies prioritize jobs and exports, clinching NITI Aayog’s top spot for small states.

Recruiting over 27,000 into public service recently, the government tackles vacancies head-on. Bold reforms include India’s toughest exam malpractice law, anti-conversion statutes, massive anti-encroachment drives reclaiming vast lands, and relentless anti-corruption campaigns with swift land dispute resolutions.

Elevating ‘Nari Shakti,’ 30% reservation in jobs reflects commitment to women. Dhami urged active participation in building a progressive Uttarakhand within the broader ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and Atmanirbhar Bharat frameworks, painting an optimistic future.
