    Uttarkashi: Rescue operations are ongoing in Jankichatti, a day after a significant landslide struck the Yamunotri Yatra route. Teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), District Police, and other agencies are working jointly on search and rescue efforts. Under the direction of SDRF Commander Arpan Yaduvanshi, aerial surveys are being conducted using drone cameras to assess the affected area and identify potential areas of concern. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his sorrow regarding the landslide and confirmed that the SDRF, police, forest department, and medical teams are actively involved in rescue and relief operations. The landslide occurred at Nau Kachi, approximately 3 km from Janaki Chatti on the Yamunotri Dham Yatra route. One injured person has been rescued and sent to PHC Jankichatti for medical attention.
