Sagar Kundu, a 22-year-old YouTuber from Berhampur, Odisha, is missing after being swept away by strong currents at the Duduma waterfall on Saturday. The incident occurred while he was filming a live video. Despite warnings from his friends about rising water levels, Kundu ventured onto rocks in the middle of the stream. A sudden surge of water from the dam subsequently swept him away. Rescue teams, including police, fire personnel, and ODRAF, have been searching for Kundu since the incident, but he has not been found. Witnesses reported that Kundu ignored repeated warnings to return to the bank. His friends attempted to rescue him by throwing a rope, but their efforts were unsuccessful. Search operations resumed on Sunday morning, with authorities recovering a bag containing batteries and other equipment Kundu had discarded just before being swept away. Kundu, accompanied by fellow YouTuber Abhijit Behera and friends, had been filming videos at the waterfall using a drone before the accident.
