The outcome of the Asia Cup 2025 final will be determined after the Super-4 round. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka have secured their spots in the Super-4 round, vying for a place in the final. Following the completion of three matches in this round, the situation has become thrilling, with three out of the four teams having won one match each. Pakistan has opened its account in the points table after Bangladesh and Team India, securing its first victory in this round. Pakistan didn’t just open its account; it jumped directly to second place. In a match played in Abu Dhabi on September 23, Sri Lanka batted first and managed to score only 133 runs in 20 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets for Pakistan, while all-rounder Hussain Talat also bowled economically, taking 2 wickets. Talat then showcased his batting skills, forming an unbeaten 58-run partnership with Mohammad Nawaz, leading the team to a 5-wicket victory. Talat scored an unbeaten 32 runs, while Nawaz played a quickfire innings of 38 runs.
