Indian bowler Harshit Rana faced criticism after a lackluster performance against Sri Lanka in a recent match. Despite clocking speeds up to 145 kmph, his inconsistent bowling resulted in 54 runs conceded in four overs, with an economy of 13.50. Former India skipper Kris Srikkanth criticized Rana’s dramatic celebrations, deeming them unnecessary and a distraction. Srikkanth highlighted the crucial role of Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy in keeping India competitive. While Rana did take Nissanka’s wicket in the final over, Sri Lanka pushed the game to a Super Over, which India eventually won, thanks to Arshdeep Singh’s performance.
