Guwahati witnessed cricketing magic as India demolished New Zealand by chasing 154 runs in just 10 overs during the third T20I. This clinical performance not only clinched the match but etched India’s name in the annals of T20 history.

With 60 balls to spare, India surpassed West Indies’ 37-ball record against South Africa earlier this year. England lags behind at 33 balls. This chase against New Zealand is the most dominant ever, obliterating previous benchmarks.

The series triumph extends India’s incredible run to 11 consecutive T20I series wins, equaling Pakistan’s best. On home soil, their 10-series streak since 2022 is unmatched, eclipsing Australia’s previous high.

New Zealand’s innings folded at 153/9 after opting to bat. Phillips’ 48 was the highlight, with Chapman adding 32. Bumrah’s 3/19 dismantled the Kiwi batting lineup.

Abhishek Sharma (68*) and Suryakumar Yadav (57*) formed an unbroken 117-run partnership, racing to victory. The 3-0 lead in the series highlights India’s evolution into a T20 powerhouse, blending explosive batting with sharp bowling.
