The India-Pakistan match held on September 14 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which India won with a dominant 7-wicket victory, has ignited controversy. A notable incident during the match has become the center of attention. During the coin toss, captains Suryakumar Yadav and Salman Ali Agha did not shake hands, setting the stage for further events.

Pakistan, after choosing to bat first, struggled to score runs, as India’s bowling lineup dismantled the team. Kuldeep Yadav took three crucial wickets. India’s batting began aggressively, with opener Abhishek Sharma scoring 31 runs off 13 balls, followed by Suryakumar Yadav’s 47 off 37 and Tilak Varma’s 31 runs.

Following the match, Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube left the field without shaking hands with the Pakistani side. Mike Hesson reported that he and captain Salman Ali Agha waited near the Indian area, but no one from the Indian team approached them. This incident has led to frustration and a formal protest from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), citing unsportsmanlike behavior.
