The highly anticipated India versus Pakistan match in the 2025 Asia Cup is set to be a major event, with the two teams facing off in a Group A encounter on September 14 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The Asia Cup, scheduled from September 9 to 28, will feature eight teams competing in the T20I format across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. India’s campaign begins on September 10 against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai, followed by the match against Pakistan, and concludes with a game against Oman on September 19 in Abu Dhabi.

Broadcasters are poised to capitalize on the excitement surrounding the India-Pakistan clash. The ad inventory for India’s matches is priced at a premium, with the India-Pakistan game commanding the highest rates. A 10-second advertising slot during this match is valued at a staggering Rs 16 lakh, illustrating the commercial appeal of this intense rivalry.

Sponsorship packages for the event include co-presenting sponsorships for Rs 18 crore and associate sponsorships for Rs 13 crore. A spot-buy package offers advertising for Rs 16 lakh per 10 seconds for both India and non-India matches, with an approximate cost of Rs 4.48 crore per game. The digital rights holder, Sony LIV, is also offering significant advertising deals, with co-presenting and highlights partner packages at Rs 30 crore each, and co-powered-by packages at Rs 18 crore. Digital ad rates vary depending on placement, with pre-rolls costing Rs 275 per 10 seconds (Rs 500 for India games, Rs 750 for India-Pakistan), mid-rolls at Rs 225 per 10 seconds (Rs 400 for India games, Rs 600 for India-Pakistan), and connected TV ads at Rs 450 (Rs 800 for India games, Rs 1,200 for India-Pakistan).

The India vs. Pakistan fixture has long been the highlight of Asian cricket, drawing millions of viewers and frequently setting viewership records. This year’s match, scheduled for a Sunday evening in Dubai, is expected to be no different. For India, this group-stage game represents more than just a match; it signifies pride, momentum, and a statement ahead of the knockout rounds.
