While Team India wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson is focused on preparations for the 2025 Asia Cup, several Indian Premier League teams are eyeing him. Samson, who has captained Rajasthan Royals for nearly five seasons, appears to be ending his association with the franchise. Rumors have circulated for days that he is hoping to join another team via the trading window before the auction, with Chennai Super Kings considered the frontrunner. However, the three-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders has also entered the fray, offering Rajasthan a choice of two players in exchange for Samson.
