The India-England test series witnessed numerous records being broken and set. While Shubman Gill impressed with his batting, Mohammed Siraj wreaked havoc with the ball, particularly captivating the world with his performance. Siraj’s exceptional bowling in the Oval Test, where he took a total of 9 wickets, played a crucial role in his team’s victory. Former Sri Lankan cricketer and umpire Kumar Dharmasena is now an admirer of Siraj’s bowling. Dharmasena, who was a field umpire in the final test match, shared a post on his official social media account, praising Siraj’s bowling.

In the final test match, England needed 35 runs to win with four wickets in hand. In the second innings, Siraj took two wickets on the fourth day, and strong bowling was expected from him on the fifth day as well. Siraj did not disappoint fans, taking three more wickets on the final day. He bowled out Gus Atkinson, securing the win for Team India. Kumar Dharmasena shared a photo of this particular dismissal on social media, with the caption, ‘I am fortunate to have witnessed this ball by Siraj.’
